8 Ways to Less Stress During Wedding Season

8 Simple Steps for Wedding Stress Management. When you're mindful and intentionally use these tools your Wedding Planning will feel far less stressful. Even when things out of your control arise you'll be far more calm and able to respond.

  1. Have a mindful practice; breath work, meditation, journaling or anything that is intentional and allows you to pause, reflect and rejuvenate yourself.

  2. Move your body in a way that brings you joy. Forcing never aliviates stress but going for the nature walk, dancing or even lifting weights. Whatever way brings you joy do that.

  3. Know when you need to book your vendors and do it early. Go to wedding shows, research and find your vendors. This planning will make things easier as your wedding date approaches.

  4. Plan for something creative or a stay-cation, our minds love to look for solutions so a "problem" like this will have you feeling more joy and releiving stress.

  5. Create boundaries with your family and friends. This is a time to celebrate and have fun planning. Every one has their own opinions and that's wonderful but the main focus is uniting you and your partner.

  6. Have something predictable that you do every day. Routines allow our brains to feel safe and not in fight or flight when feeling stressed.

  7. Deligate, you do not have to do everything. Use your Bridal Party or anyone who has offered to help to do tasks that really don't require much of your attention.

  8. Sleep, know how much you need and get it. Lack of sleep creates brain fog, irritability and of course fatigue.

Doing these 8 steps consitantly throughout your wedding planning will allow for more ease, flow and fun through the journey from engagement to the day you say I do.
